lippok and sinha writing session over zoom, 2023
ds is currently writing a new book chapter with berlin musician robert lippok, tentatively titled "zehn tage im april: a conversation on listening to/through/with the environment".
focusing on lippok's album of the same name, sinha and lippok discuss the art of composition and field recording as filtered through the early covid pandemic. central to the chapter's argument is an investigation of what sinha terms "recording-as-practice".
the book chapter is slated for inclusion in a new book project helmed by professor ellen waterman of the research centre for music, sound and society in canada.
